It is a classical recipe of dough for pies, tartlets or cookies. You can use or modernize shortcake dough. You cake make it in any kind with any additions: chocolate, dried fruits or nuts. Keep it in a refrigerator no more than a few weeks. It is necessary to knead the dough in the mixer with an attachment “blade” without stopping. My favourite variant of use of this dough is in the form of berry baskets with a souffle.

recipe:

  • 250 grams of margarine
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 3-4 chicken yolks
  • 100 grams of sour cream
  • 7-10 grams of baking powder
  • 2 grams of vanillin
  • 600 grams of flour

to do:

We stir margarine with sugar to the condition of a fluffy foam. Then put yolks one by one without stopping mixing process. Now it is necessary to add sour cream, but it should be mixed with a baking powder beforehand — such is technology. After sour cream add flour with vanillin. They should be passed through a sieve and put by parts, by a tablespoon. When the mixture becomes smooth, leave it in a refrigerator for half an hour – one hour. After we spread it in a form or simply roll and cut out. Bake it at 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. If you bake it in a shape, get it hot, if on a baking sheet, it is better to bake it on parchment.
